Excellent place to stay. It was a rural setting with good room size and well appointed. Positive: Location was rural but that was ok with us! It was quiet and the farm animals made it a real treat for the Grandie House was beautifully appointed and the owner who happened to be on site in the dressage ring unit was lovely! (She doesn't live there)! Just had an event the next day so had to get the horse sorted for dressage the next day! The pet sheep and ducks were a real treat! Negative: The check in process! We had to pay extra as a bond to stay (which we do get back) and sign a rental agreement lease with photo ID and they wanted a list of the guests coming as well. I have never had to do that with Booking.com before so that was a big negative. HOWEVER, we did discuss this with the owner and she took it all on board and was going to change it so please do consider staying there! It was worth it!
